A grade on a Laptop Sharks listing tells you one thing: how the laptop looks. It never describes how well it works, because every laptop we sell, whatever its grade, passes the same full function test. Battery health is shown separately, as a number.
Grade A (Excellent)
Close to new. Any marks are faint and hard to see. The screen has no marks you can see when it is on.
Grade B (Good)
Light signs of use, such as small scuffs or fine scratches on the lid or base, or some shine on the keys. Nothing that affects use.
Grade C (Fair)
Clearly used: more noticeable scratches, scuffs or small dents. It works exactly like a Grade A unit and costs less. The best value if looks matter less to you than specs.
We describe every mark
A grade is a summary. On each listing we also write plain condition notes, such as “2 mm scuff on the lid corner”, and repeat them on your invoice. If the laptop that arrives doesn’t match its description, you can return it within 14 days.
